The Movie

As an aside ... lately ... I have more or less responded to the stuff going on and really have not done much of the original "promise" ... abstracting day-to-day stuff to the higher level. I'll attend to that in a bit ...

Never mind ... let me hit it right away ... I think we continue down the path where the Democraps believe their own press, and have made what will hopefully be the disasterous decision to show America their true colors ... the latest blunder this time by threatening to cause ABC problems if they aired the 9-11 movie. I am just out of my mind about this one ... how could they be so stupid as to take a public stand that literally threatens a major broadcast company? Worse yet, this is the same party that literally BEGGED people to go to Michael Moore's Crocumentary ... Ferris Bueller's 9-11, and invited the fathead to sit with the worst president of the 20th century during their convention.

Then again, maybe I should not be so surprised.

Another "high" thought ... how do people continue to get sucked into the Clinton self-absorption neurosis. I mean, you've got the whole 2-3 decade old terrorist mess which is not all that much of a mystery to anybody but the deranged few (i.e. typically reserved for faculty at schools like UW Madison and Berkeley) ... effectively boils down to them doing all they can to kill us and us ignoring them, so they just get worse and worse. So we do a movie about it, and Bill Clinton thinks it is all about him. The funny part is that the idiot effectively PROVED the case of the moviemakers by being such an idiot and acting like such a thug.

More fun thoughts ... all of the Clintonoids that crawl out from under whatever rock or sewer they are under to deny the fundamental facts of the movie. Includes Sandy Burglar ... who was guilty of stealing documents from the National Archives trying to cover up the facts during the 9-11 committee, Maddy Half-bright ... whose awesome negotiating skills gave us the North Korea of today, even Richard Clark. That last one is so bizarre because this is the guy that comes off looking like a hero in the movie. Maybe he was just pissed off because the actor that played his part was a lard-ass.


At the end of the movie, ABC took a gratuitous slap at the Bush Administration by showing a graphic that the 9-11 commission gave GW pretty bad grades on security ... and "higher" thought can take us in a bunch of directions on this.
1) Um, let's see ... the commission said that attacks were a matter of "when", not "if" ... and you would have been insane to have predicted we would go 5 years without another. Yet here we are. So whatever Bush is doing HAS worked and the commission recommendations, AS ANTICIPATED BY THE PRESIDENT ... were pretty much useless.
2) Much of the crap recommended WOULD NOT HAVE STOPPED 9-11 ... um, am I missing something here?
3) Jamie Gorelick was on the commission, yet was probably the person single most responsible for making 9-11 happen. At the very least she should have been cooking in the hotseat a helluva lot more than anybody else, and FORCED to answer the question "why the hell would you set this policy to tie your own hands?"
4) The commission totally (and intentionally) ignored several key programs that absolutely identified the ring leader(s) Atta, et al. ... Able danger, etc. We "had" them.


More Random Thoughts

Heard Dick Morris comment on the fact that "we had no president" for a couple of years because of that idiotic Lewinsky garbage. For the record, I have already commented that this may go down as one of the dumbest decisions in the annals of the Federal Judiciary ... allowing a trailer park tramp to sue a sitting president on a personal matter ... and we now know the blood of American citizens was the price we paid.

Nonetheless ... Clinton should have kept Mr. Happy in his pants, and he should not have lied about it ... he ended up settling the damned case anyway ... so what the hell was the point? Morris' conclusions (along the lines of some "our team can do no wrong" whacked out lefties) is barely part of it.

Regardless ... even when he was not running off at the evils of Ken Starr, Schlick never showed any real leadership or vision against terrorism the whole time he was prez ... so pretending like catching hummers from his daughter's girlfriends as the reason he failed is just a sideshow.
