Commercial - "It is the economy stupid", isn't it?

Another entry in my "political commercials I would love to see" pile:

In the 90s, we were told that the only thing that mattered (in national politics) : "It's the economy, stupid". If the economy is good, and it is all Bill Clinton's doing, we were supposed to elect democrats.

Yeah, right ... now that the Republicans have picked up the pieces left behind by the Clinton/Gore recession mess, all of a sudden we are supposed to totally ignore the economy.

The economy is in the best state it has been in years, including the 90s, despite the best efforts of Democrats and their friends in the media. And statistics show that those benefits are for everybody, from top to bottom.

The tax cuts proposed by Mr. Bush, and passed by a Republican congress has done exactly what we were told they would do ... made the economy better.

Now the democrats are promising to "turn things around", and their friends in the media want to help them. So if you want to go back into a recession, and crank up your taxes, vote Democrat. But if you believe that the message about a fantastic economy still holds, then vote Republican.
